The Perfect Summer Picnic Pairing

I love summer and little summer celebrations make me the happiest. Swimming in the ocean, watching the sunsets and sunrises, and enjoying time with my family. Today, I’ll be having my favorite sandwich the rest of the day ;) aww it’s just the perfect summer picnic pairing. Pinch me! I mean food is so essential for living a happy and healthy life.
Making my favorite sandwich is all in the details and my favorite part about this weekend was having this picnic, eating natural food and enjoying Miami summer. So, I couldn’t be happier about Land O’ Frost’s new line, Bistro Favorites 100% Natural Sliced meats. I was inspired to make my favorite sandwich recreating theirTurkey & Avocado with Spring Vegetablesrecipe. And, I loved that Bistro Favorites are all natural, with minimal processing and no artificial ingredients.
I’m including the recipe for you angels below as you would love experiencing this artisan-quality food at home. It is easy to follow, such a gourmet meal, and it tastes just like the one I had at a tiny shop in Paris. Also, you can whip up a gourmet aioli to complement the Peppered Beef or spice up a salad with Black Forest Ham.
Turkey & Avocado with Spring Vegetables
6 slices of Bistro Favorites Rotisserie Seasoned Turkey Breast
2 slices of multigrain bread
1 radish, thinly sliced
4 baby cucumbers, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced lengthwise
3 Tbsp. avocado mash
1 tsp. of lime zest
1 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Toast bread until golden brown. In a separate bowl, mash avocado, lime, and cilantro ingredients together.
Spread Avocado mash on both slices of bread. Lightly drizzle with olive oil.
Finish by layering turkey breast, radish slices, yellow pepper slices, and cucumber slices.
